If you've been longing to try your hand at lino block printing but don't know where to begin, this workshop is for you!  This effective printmaking technique first gained popularity early in the 20th century and has been enjoyed by creative folk ever since.                                                                                                              
In this beginner's guide to lino block printing you will learn the skills required to create a stunning block print design centered around your own unique creative ideas.  This enjoyable, hands on workshop will be instructed by Kellie Edwards from 'Creativityhood'.  Kellie is a visual art teacher and practitioner who conquered her apprehension of unfamiliar medium and ended up falling in love with the process. 

In this workshop you will be taught how to explore sources of inspiration for your art and how to transform your desired imagery into a simple block print.  Kellie will teach you how to carefully carve your design into your lino with success and safety.  You will then learn how to transfer your final design onto paper and will walk away with a print ready to frame as well your lino to take home so you can print your image until your heart is content.  

Suitable for absolute beginners or those who wish to refine their skills.

All materials are included.

Small class size will allow for maximum attention.

If you'd like to BYO vino to our evening classes, you are very welcome to.  We have plenty of glassware and will keep it chilled for you.  


Your space in a class is reserved only once full payment has been received. 

Our workshop tickets are non-refundable.  If you are unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place. 

We are required to meet minimum numbers for each class.  If we do not meet this requirement and need to cancel a class we may do so at any time and offer you a full refund. 

As we continue to live through this global pandemic we may be required to cancel the workshop to comply with COVID safe guidelines.  If this occurs we will reach out to you.  We are unfortunately unable to provide a refund for the full amount due to fees and charges incurred at the time of the sale, however we will offer you a refund for approximately 95% of the workshop fee.  Alternatively we can offer you a craft collective credit for the full amount.
