Delve into the wonderful world of botanical dye with the talented an passionate Sue Connor from Playing With Fibre. Sue is visiting our beautiful city and has kindly set aside some creative time to stop in at the studio.
In this workshop you will be introduced to the magic and beauty of natural dyeing. Sue will share with you which plants and kitchen waste can be used for dyeing, how to effectively mordant fabric and the technique of bundle dyeing.
You will craft the afternoon away as you create your own unique silk scarf reflecting the beauty of nature.
All materials are provided.
Suitable for beginners or those who wish to refine their skills.
We welcome anyone who’d like to join us and connect with like-minded people while getting their craft on! Gather your friends or come alone.
Small class size will allow for maximum attention.
You are welcome to wander through our gift shop during the workshop. If you see something you like, we offer a 10% discount on all purchases made during workshop hours.
If you'd like to BYO wine to keep you hydrated during the workshop you are very welcome to. We can keep your vino chilled and have plenty of glass ware.

Your space in a class is reserved only once full payment has been received.
Our workshop tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place.
We are required to meet minimum numbers for each class. If we do not meet this requirement and need to cancel a class we may do so at any time and offer you a full refund.
